A Richmond building taken on flat by flat. We stripped it right back to brick, joists and bare roof timbers, then rebuilt it into two finished flats. Every trade was ours, from the first strip-out to the final clean.
We took this Richmond building on flat by flat. It started as a shell stripped back to brick and joists, and ended as two finished homes.
Flat 1 was the larger fit-out. The living and dining space was opened up under a new skylight, the bathrooms tiled in deep-green herringbone with double basins and lit mirrors, and the second bedroom given sage panelling and plantation shutters. Outside, the garden was relaid as a private patio.
Flat 2 was finished in a calmer palette. A sage-green fitted kitchen, a bay-window living room, two bedrooms and a walk-in shower room.
The starting point was a building site. The roof timbers, floors and staircase were stripped back and rebuilt with the whole building scaffolded. The structural work, plastering, joinery, tiling, electrics, plumbing, decorating and landscaping were all ours, so there was one team and one point of contact throughout.
We took this building on one flat at a time. Here is each finished flat, and how it looked when we started.
The larger flat. Open-plan living under a skylight, two bathrooms, bedrooms and a private patio.
